Lot Information

Lot 1

NHS South West London CCG is inviting expressions of interest from suitably experienced and capable providers, to provide Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) Services to patients within the borough of Wandsworth. Specifically, these services will involve low complexity, high volume physiotherapy to all body parts. The service model is likely to involve a digital first element, with a blended offer of virtual, group and face to face patient sessions. The service provider will work in close liaison with the local MSK Alliance and the Physiotherapy Service of St. George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Current thinking is that the contract may have an initial duration of 2 years, with potential to be extended for up to a further 2 years - up to 4 years overall being possible. The modelled contract value is circa PS500k per year to meet the needs of Wandsworth's population, with 4 years potentially being worth up to PS2m. Additionally, the CCG is considering reserving a right to expand the scope and value of the contract during its term, to facilitate access to this community based capacity, by local NHS Trusts, as may be assessed as required by the South West London integrated care system. This could have potential to double the overall potential contract life value, i.e. up to PS4m. Interested providers should note that the CCG is reviewing what suitable NHS premises may become available to offer to the service provider(s), however interested providers should best assume a responsibility to identify their own premises, which will need support appropriately accessible services to Wandsworth patients. A competitive procurement is being assumed (subject to market interest and capability), which is currently scheduled to commence in February 2022 to enable one single contract to cover the whole service requirement, to be awarded by April 2022. Service commencement would then be anticipated from July 2022. The CCG wishes to understand the views of interested providers, particularly in relation to the CCG's refreshed commissioning intentions for community MSK. Responses to this invitation for expressions of interest are likely to initiate follow-up engagement by the CCG. Additional information: ***TO EXPRESS YOUR INTEREST and to COMMENCE ENGAGEMENT with the CCG, you are invited to COMPLETE a Market Engagement Questionnaire (MEQ) and return this ASAP by 12noon, Thursday 16th December 2021. Please return your completed MEQ via the messaging facility of the e-procurement system "EU-Supply" which is available at https://nhssbs.eu-supply.com. *Note: If not already registered with EU-Supply, you will need to register FREE of charge. This will be the main portal to be used to communicate with interested providers, and through which the procurement process will be managed. An attached document "EU-Supply User Guide" will be helpful. If you need technical support on the EU-Supply Portal, please contact the EU-Supply Helpdesk on 0800 840 2050 or support@eu-supply.com. Once logged into EU-Supply, search for Tender/RFI ID reference 47368 - "Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) Service in Wandsworth Nov 2021". Provider organisations responding with a completed Market Engagement Questionnaire to confirm their interest, are likely to be invited to engage further with the CCG, including the CCG sharing latest versions of the service specifications, activity and financial modelling and the commercial approach being developed for the contract - all ahead of any possible procurement process. Note, whilst your response is not a pre-requisite to any future procurement opportunity, responses, or lack of them will be used by the CCG as evidence and inform selection of the most appropriate process to award a contract(s), including whether a competitive process should be used.
