THE SUPPLY OF SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE FOR ELECTRONIC SECURITY SERVICES (ESS) & THIRD PARTY ALARM SYSTEMS (TPAS) SERVICES
Notice Description
The Authority, as the contracting entity, is tendering for the supply of ELECTRONIC SECURITY SERVICES (ESS) & THIRD PARTY ALARM SYSTEMS (TPAS) Services to the MPS. The MPS/Authority is seeking, through this tendering process, to award a contract with suitably capable Bidders to provide these Services for an initial term of 4 years and a unilateral option for the MPS/Authority to extend for further periods of 1 year, up to a maximum of 2 years. This is a requirement by the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), to procure a contract for the provision of support and maintenance of Electronic Security Services (ESS) and Third Party Alarm Systems (TPAS) across the MOPAC Estate and the wider Greater London Area. Third Party Alarm Systems are provided to discrete high-priority sites which are not part of the Authority/MPS Estate. The MPS operates complex, highly sensitive and high profile sites within the MOPAC Estate and places a high priority on the protection of its staff, building users, and physical and data assets. These need 24/7/365 protection from a wide range of threat actors. The MPS invests significantly in maintaining and improving a wide variety of protective security measures, including electronic security measures, the subject of this tender.
