Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) Mine Investigation and Exploitation by Remote Operated Vehicle (MIE ROV) project team, part of the UK MOD, intend to award a contract to Wight Ocean Ltd valued at approximately PS230k, for the provision of Greensea Safe C2 and two Training Simulator Systems.

Defence Science and Technology Laboratory (DSTL) Mine Investigation and Exploitation by Remote Operated Vehicle (MIE ROV) project team, part of the UK MOD, intend to award a contract to Wight Ocean Ltd valued at approximately PS230k, for the provision of Greensea Safe C2 and two Training Simulator Systems. The DSTL MIE ROV project team require Greensea Safe C2 and Training Simulator Systems in order to deliver a proof of concept demonstration to their customer. It is considered that this contract can be awarded using the Negotiated Procedure without Prior Publication of a Contract Notice for technical reasons. Wight Ocean Ltd is the only authorised UK supplier of Greensea Safe C2 and Training Simulator Systems. This is the only C2 system and simulator on the market that meets the DSTL MIE ROV project team's proportionate and non-discriminatory specification.
