Notice Description
The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham (LBBD) invites suitable tenderers to bid for the Contract for the Provision of Barking and Dagenham Healthwatch Service. Local authorities are required under the Health and Social Care Act 2012, to commission a local Healthwatch service. Healthwatch acts as a consumer champion for users of health and social care services. The purpose is to make sure that people know where to go to raise concerns and obtain information about health and social care services, that people's views and experiences are heard, improving scrutiny of health and social care services and helping local people to influence commissioning decisions.
