                "description": "The Council has received a number of queries regarding the maximum budget allocated to this contract and therefore the maximum bid price. Initially the Council decided to review the position and the approach taken in setting this value. Originally it was thought we could conclude these discussions fairly quickly and continue the process. We advised we were considering extending the timelines for the tender process so that our response could be taken into account by bidders. However, the time taken for review has exceeded our original expectation and may continue for some time before the Council can bring this to a resolution. Therefore, it is the Council's intention to abandon this tender to allow for the necessary and appropriate time to fully investigate the issues raised and potentially reformulate the Council's approach. Once the approach has been finalised the Council will re-approach the market whereupon your interest will be once again appreciated. The Council apologises for the inconvenience the abandonment of this tender causes."
