Monopoly service from legacy of network sale with National Grid. At point of sale,National Grid established PMC Ambergate (branch of National Grid) to continue providing the specialist services. Non -Emergency Direct Award 2 of the non-emergency elements must be awarded directly to National Grid due to how specialised the requirement is in line with the above. Non - Emergency Short Term. The provision for the non emergency services will be directly awarded to National Grid for a period of 10 months to allow an above threshold tender event to be carried out in line with UCR 2016 contract regulations. An EOI was published in Nov 21 to engage with the market."
