Notice Title
CWC21158 Provision of Key Workers for the Power2 Team
Notice Description
The Power2 Team is a multi-disciplinary, multi-agency partnership between Children's Social Care, Adult Social Care, Wolverhampton Clinical Commissioning Group, Public Health and the Voluntary Sector. It supports vulnerable young people aged 11-25 at risk of exploitation and family breakdown. The team provides a trauma informed approach enabling vulnerable young people and adults to develop a consistent, non-judgemental, one to one relationship with a case/key worker with the relationship being built on trust and stability. The team has direct access to clinical, welfare and safeguarding professionals alongside direct access to key workers from the voluntary sector, many of which have lived experience which enables them to build authentic relationships with young people. The team members have their own specialisms and expertise and have all been trained in specialist frameworks such as Attachment Theory; Developmental and Relational Trauma; and Attachment, Regulation and Competency. Following a successful pilot project, resources have been made available to the continuation of the Power2 Team. The service will be delivered across the city of Wolverhampton at locations that are deemed most appropriate for the delivery of the different components of the service. The appropriateness of the locations should include an assessment of the accessibility in terms of travel and direct access in relation to the target groups for the service. Please note this PIN is purely for information only and does not automatically enrol suppliers to a future tender opportunity. This exercise is not part of any pre-qualification or selection process. It is intended as an awareness, communication and information-gathering exercise offering an opportunity for potential contractors to help understand commissioning intentions. All information stated within the PIN are subject to change. The Council does not require at this stage any tender response documentation to be submitted other than an expression of interest by email to Adebimpe.winjobi@wolverhampton.gov.uk. latest by 23rd February 2022. Failure to respond to this expression of interest will not disqualify suppliers from any future tender. If you have any questions or require further information regarding this opportunity, please contact Adebimpe.winjobi@wolverhampton.gov.uk. Any information provided to suppliers ahead of tender publication will be logged and published as part of the tender documents. The Council is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party participating in this exercise. Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions in the Public Contracts Regulation.
