Notice Title
Made Smarter Programme - West of England
Notice Description
We are seeking the services of external delivery partner(s) to work collaboratively with the West of England Combined Authority to deliver Made Smarter West of England. Made Smarter West of England is a programme to support manufacturing Small & Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the West of England to adopt Industrial Digital Technologies through a package of intensive support measures. The project will be led by the West of England Combined Authority. The Combined Authority will deliver some parts of the project in-house, but there are other parts where the Combined Authority does not have the required resources or expertise and are therefore the subject of this procurement. The Combined Authority is looking to contract with one lead delivery partner. It is likely the lead delivery partner will need to work as part of a consortium (led by the lead delivery partner) to ensure each element of this procurement can be delivered. If you are an organisation interested in supporting Made Smarter West of England but are unsure how to be part of a consortium, we may be able to put you in touch with other organisations who are also interested in being part of a consortium. Please submit your request through the messaging function in the Procurement Portal. We are open to proposals that enhance the outcomes of this work with supplementary ideas and links to other relevant programmes. Made Smarter West of England is funded through the Combined Authority's Investment Fund but follows the same principles as the BEIS funded Made Smarter National Adoption Programme1. It is recommended interested parties are familiar with the BEIS programme prior to replying to this procurement opportunity.
