Notice Title
CSI/CYP/Youth Services
Notice Description
Bristol City Council (BCC) currently invests 1.9m in the provision of Targeted Youth Services (TYS). These support young people from the age of 11 to 19 years (or up to 25 for care leavers). BCC also invests 100k in supporting the youth sector via its Sector Support Fund. TYS supports young people through a combination of 1-2-1, targeted groupwork, open access and detached/outreach work. This support is primarily aimed at supporting young people's emotional health and well-being (including drugs & alcohol support), helping to track young people's current educational status and providing Education, Employment and Training support. The current TYS contracts (North, East Central & South) are due to expire in May 2023
Lot Information
Lot 1
This PIN has been issued in order to seek expressions of interest from suppliers that may wish to take part in a series of workshops to co-produce a governance and structure through which we can jointly fund youth work. This will be the first of these independently facilitated events that will bring together the Youth Sector and Bristol City Council. We also want to co-produce a set of outcomes for children and young people which we can jointly own and which allows us to focus on getting the right service to the right children and young people at the right time and place. And of course, we will have the voice of children and young people at the heart of our arrangements. This PIN is not a call for competition for the purposes of Regulation 26(9) of the Public Contracts regulation 2015. Please note that there are no tender documents to submit at this stage. The Council is holding a consultation event on Wed, 23 March 2022, 10:00 - 13:00 GMT at Filwood Community Centre. To book a place at the event and for further information please go to the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-future-of-bristols-youth-services-tickets-274761488007
