The professional body for employees in the HR Profession/Function is the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Professional membership of the body is not only desirable but now proving essential if we are to consolidate and further develop a People Operations Profession that is professionally recognised as having the capability to actively meet the demands of delivering 21st Century HR across the military sector.
Procurement Information
The UK Ministry of Defence intends to award a 3 year contract to Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) for PS250,000.00 without prior publication of a contract notice for the provision of CIPD accreditation through the Experience Assessment Route. It is considered justified for technical reasons under regulation Article 32(2)b(ii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The chartered institute of personnel and development are the only supplier able to provide this accreditation.
