Notice Description

North Central London CCG is seeking to commission an early intervention, easy to access, online, in and out of hours counselling and support service to young people aged 11-26th birthday people living, attending school or with GP registration in the NCL boroughs. In line with the Health and Care Bill it is envisaged that CCGs will be abolished and replaced by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). Any reference to CCGs as Contracting Authorities in this procurement should be interpreted as referring to the ICBs that will take their place in due course.

North Central London CCG is seeking to commission an early intervention, easy to access, online, in and out of hours counselling and support service to young people aged 11-26th birthday people living, attending school or with GP registration in the NCL boroughs. The aims and objectives of the service will be to: a. Improve the emotional wellbeing and mental health of CYP by providing an early response to emotional wellbeing and/or emerging mental health needs b. Improve CYP access to services and support through the use of digital services built around the needs and views of CYP c. Increase early detection of mental health problems so they can be addressed promptly, thus preventing problems from getting worse and requiring a more specialist response d. Improve access to the provision of self-care tools and resources which support CYP and their families to help themselves and build resilience e. Improve partnership working across the whole CYP mental health system by working in collaboration with local services and support building on, complementing and enhancing existing service provision f. Improve access to services for CYP who are vulnerable/disadvantaged and hard to reach by removing some of barriers to meet their needs, such as associated stigma g. To reduce the stigma associated with physically accessing a mental health service by offering an alternative to traditional face to face counselling that is easily accessible to young people h. To provide an accessible early intervention for those with low level mental health and emotional wellbeing support needs i. To provide a positive experience of counselling, which might then lead to face to face and/or clinical support for some CYP Please note that the PIN is being advertised as a call for competition. The contract is a going to be for 2 years with an option to extend for an additional 1 year. (2+1) The Contract is expected to commence on 1st May 2022, with the possible deadline for delivery of the service being 30th April 2025. Value of the contract is PS1,158,000. Based on PS386,000 per year. In line with the Health and Care Bill it is envisaged that CCGs will be abolished and replaced by Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).
