Notice Title

Digital Primary Care Innovation and Transformation Hub - WYH

Notice Description

West Yorkshire ICS digital programme is seeking to set up a digital primary care innovation hub (DPCIH). The hub would be funded via NHSE/I digital first primary care funding with WYH ICS commissioning Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network (YH AHSN) to host and manage the set-up, recruitment and operations of the DPCIH. Aim is to provide dedicated place-based capacity across each of the participating places to enable existing patient pathways to develop a workplan and research innovative approaches. This will enable the development of integrated approaches across the geography, that align with local plans for transformation. Additionally, the place-based support will build relationships and work to support the places, identifying unmet needs, priorities, opportunities, levers and enablers, whilst also linking with the other place leads to look for areas for joint collaboration/regional approaches for scale and sustainability. The offer is a two year contract, with the option to extend annually, by up to 3 years. Maximum potential contract length = 5 years.

The AHSN are already a partner organisation to deliver innovation for West Yorkshire, and the hub is an extension of this work. Discussions have been held with NHS Shared Business Services, with a view to adding AHSN to a Framework. Due to timescales, it wasn't possible for the start of this project but introductions have been made and discussions will continue with a view to progressing this route for future potential procurements.
