Without access to this technical information the UK MoD is not in a position to be able to identify the exact technical requirements for the manufacture of spares which would put the performance of the equipment and the safety of the users of the equipment at significant risk. There are no equivalent products, reasonable substitutes or alternatives to the specification, that have the same functional and interoperability requirements. This notice is not a request for expressions of interest so please do not apply to be invited to tender. Babcock Land Defence Ltd, acting as agent for the UK MoD, is to negotiate a single source contract with ISTEC Services Ltd."
