Aberdeenshire Council are looking to encourage the delivery of a cycling sportive event in June 2023 to build upon on the successful visits of the Tour of Britain cycle race, which will have passed through a significant part of Aberdeenshire in 2021 and 2022, with a landmark mountain top stage finish at the Glenshee Ski Centre in September 2022.
