    "description": "Supplier Engagement: South Tyneside Council would like to undertake a market engagement event with organisations interesting in tendering for and delivering these works. Please note that participation in this engagement event or registration of interest will not give any advantage in this procurement opportunity, but is purely an opportunity to potentially shape the requirements. We will consult with interested parties to get views and comments on the planned approach to market. Your responses will help to inform the procurement although we cannot guarantee that all views expressed will be taken into account. The market engagement event is anticipated to take place on or around 25th May 2022 in the form of a MS Teams meeting or similar. If you wish to participate please contact kevin.graham@southtyneside.gov.uk as soon as possible but by no later than Thursday 19th May 2022 It is the intention to issue the FTS notice on the Find a Tender Service UK e-notification in June 2022, and suppliers are advised to monitor regularly for the opportunity to be published. Once the FTS contract notice/UK e-notification notice has been published suppliers will be required to express interest in this opportunity on the NEPO ProContract system. If not already registered on ProContract please register at the following link: https://procontract.due-north.com. Suppliers will then be granted access to the tender documentation once it is published. Please note that registering on ProContract and expressing interest does not mean that you have bid for the tender - once the above steps are complete you will be required to complete and submit the tender documentation.",
