Procurement Information
X-vivo produces equipment for our perfusion projects which are uniquely manufactured and serviced by them alone. No other supplier manufactures consumables for Liver Assist devices nor do they have the expertise to service the devices. X-vivo has enabled us to create customized equipment to suit our project needs. The Liver Assist is a unique device in that it allows both normothermic (36 - 38 degrees Celsius) and hypothermic (2 - 10 degrees Celsius) perfusion of livers to facilitate our projects we require the ability to perfuse organs at varying temperatures. No other perfusion devices offer this dual function. We have several projects both ongoing and planned utilizing the Liver Assist device to perfuse liver organs to ensure research continuity.
