Strategic Partner for our Health & Social Care System
Notice Description
Strategic Partner for our Health & Social Care System The ICS in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) has been reviewing its capability for online intelligence tools that supports our system wide management, including but not limited to our EPRR and our Operational Pressure Escalation Level (OPEL) framework . BNSSG covers a population of just over 1 million residents and growing, with approximately 79 GP practices, 2 acute hospital trusts. Other key partners include our providers in community, ambulance, 111, mental-health, social care, and the voluntary sector. We are currently a highly challenged health and social care system, the effects of which are resulting in long ambulance handover times, long waiting times in A&E, activity pressure in primary care and flow challenges within our community and social sectors. We are assessing the market for a strategic partner and supplier who can assist us in the points listed below to help turn around our performance. Key requirements of our chosen provider will be the ability to provide our system with: o Effective data visualisations and dashboards o Actionable data o Learning loops o Consultancy advice on translating intelligence into healthcare improvement actions o Evidenced use of handling APIs from established PAS/EPR systems and the ability to interface with other systems o An ability to gather, extract, transform and load data. The data can be unstructured or structured and will be live or near real-time. In some instances, the data may include photographs of wall boards etc. o A proposed approach to a solution with a staggered system rollout plan across all of our partners - with clarity on how quickly we can yield value and benefits from our partnership with you. o Our partner will have experience in extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources. BNSSG is open to proposals that may include offers from consortia or through subcontracting arrangements. In BNSSG we are adopting an approach where we: * Work quickly, to share our pressures on one platform. * Deliver a visual system wide data tool enabling all partners to see capacity and activity as close to real-time as possible * Drive our system to improve population outcomes * Better engage system colleagues in delivering the above and the improvements that can be realised We are currently considering a contract term of 3 years with the option to extend for up to 2 further years, and wish to engage with potentially interested and capable suppliers to help inform our next steps. This will likely be in the form of 1:1 sessions with providers during the last week of June 2022. If you would be interested in participating, please contact us on the below email addresses, no later than 5pm on 13th June. (mstanbrook@nhs.net and keithrobertson@nhs.net)
