Summary of the contracting process

This collaborative effort involves multiple contracting authorities, including the Scottish Ministers and public bodies established under the Scotland Act 1998. Key actions will begin with the publication of a Contract Notice on 27 June 2022, followed by an Invitation to Tender (ITT) for bidders. The procurement falls under the services category, specifically classified as Welfare services not delivered through residential institutions.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in employee support services, counselling, and welfare interventions. Companies offering telephone counselling, face-to-face services, crisis intervention, and related supportive services would be particularly well-suited for this tender. Engaging in this procurement process allows businesses to develop relationships with multiple public authorities, potentially leading to long-term contracts and expansion within the public sector.
