Contracts will be directly awarded based on guidance issued by the Cabinet Office (PPN 01/21) permitting the use of regulation 32(2)(c) under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as incorporated in the Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 because of the urgency of the requirement. This relates to the provision of both gas and electricity to the Authority for the following: Half Hourly, Non Half Hourly, Streetlighting.

Contracts will be directly awarded based on guidance issued by the Cabinet Office (PPN 01/21) permitting the use of regulation 32(2)(c) under the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as incorporated in the Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 because of the urgency of the requirement. This relates to the provision of both gas and electricity to the Authority for the following: Half Hourly, Non Half Hourly, Streetlighting.

Two attempts at Procurement have been attempted however market pricing instability has resulted in no bid situations / retraction of priced bid by supplier.
