To date, the Council has resettled 10 families/55 individuals through the UK Resettlement Scheme and 15 families through the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme.Reading Borough Council has committed to continue receiving 2 to 3 families each year for 5 years. With this, the Council now seeks a service provider for a period of 5 years, to provide front line case work support and integration of families' first 12 months of arrival, in line with the relevant Government's Funding Instruction for Local Authorities.",
