Notice Title
Carers Support Soft Market Testing
Notice Description
The desired outcome is to gain insight into the market, gauge the level of interest from potential Providers and gather feedback on the feasibility of the future delivery model of Carers Support Services.
Lot Information
Lot 1
The Commissioners are looking to create services across Nottinghamshire including Nottingham City. Services must be equally accessible regardless of where people live. The structure and delivery of service should reflect the need for localised knowledge, service efficiency and effectiveness. A single Provider per service is envisaged although opportunities for collaboration and innovation are encouraged and welcomed. Please refer to the Carers Support Proposed Models.PDF for more information. People should be able to access support by whatever means suit them best and this could include in person one to one advice, group support sessions in the community, virtual sessions using technology-based support or individual telephone conversations. It is anticipated that the service specified will be paid for with a fixed budget per annum and is community-based with a community focus, requiring a strength-based approach to supporting people to achieve independence and well-being outcomes. It is envisaged that the more people are supported through this approach, the greater the benefit to carer health and wellbeing. Rationale for Soft Market Testing This process is being undertaken to gather knowledge in the following areas: * Identify potential Providers who would be interested in providing Carer Support Services * Explore the model and how it will deliver the key objectives and outcomes we aim to achieve * Identify which factors make the project viable, or not Your response will support and assist Commissioners to create a business case and project plan to further develop the concept.
