Notice Description
The BBC has awarded a contract for the delivery of Courier Services. The contract is for a Managed Service Provider of courier services, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year via their own network and third party providers for delivery of packages, goods and equipment of varying dimensions and weights. Although the majority of movements are standard deliveries, there is a requirement for specialist and time sensitive movements such as programme rushes that are time sensitive and broadcast equipment i.e., lighting and cameras. Three main services are required: same day National courier services, next day / overnight courier services and international courier services. Services must be bookable via an online booking tool access via BBC single sign on, supported by offline support. The value of PS7,000,000 includes the expected total value of spend for the full Term of the contract (7 years). NB - the total values are not committed spend, and are therefore only an expectation of spend that could be made through the Contract.

Options: The Contract will have a three (3) month implementation period prior to Service Commencement. The Contract will have an initial term of five (5) years from the Service Commencement date. The initial term may be extended at the BBC's discretion on two (2) occasions, by up to twelve (12) calendar months on each occasion.
