Notice Description
North Ayrshire Council has an on-going requirement for the Installation & Maintenance of Network Cabling and Related Services (including works to small phone systems) across the full estate of Council properties (office accommodation, schools, libraries, training facilities, community centres, etc.) including the Islands of Arran & Cumbrae. The Council is seeking to appoint a suitable technically competent Contractor to meet this requirement. This will be as a framework agreement and there will be no guaranteed volumes of business

North Ayrshire Council has an on-going requirement for the Installation and Maintenance of Network Cabling and Related Services (including works to small phone systems) across the full estate of Council properties (office accommodation, schools, libraries, training facilities, community centres, etc.) including the Islands of Arran & Cumbrae. The Council is seeking to appoint a suitable technically competent Contractor to meet this requirement. The Services provided by the successful bidder will typically include (but not be limited to): -Installation and termination of Category 6a structured cabling (including any dado or mini trunking that may also be required) -Installation and termination of Multicore telephony cabling -Installation and termination of Optical fibre cabling -Supply and installation of comms/data cabinets and associated power (PDUs) -Supply / maintenance / decommissioning of small telephone systems -Additions, moves, changes to small phone systems -Undertake site surveys for cabling / telephony requirements -Installation of Wireless Access Points (APs) The duties listed are not comprehensive and are included for guidance only and are indicative of the services that may be required. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
