Lot Information
Lot 1
AWE Urban Series - Background The Army Warfighting Experiment Urban Series 2022-2024 is a Capability Investigation within a threat based tactical scenario. It will employ live, virtual, and constructive methods to produce evidence which: de-risks major equipment programmes; enhances relationships with industry, partners, and allies; and accelerates Army modernisation and transformation. The Requirement AWE Blunt and Dislocate will focus on the following hypotheses, which will be further refined in due course into detailed experimental activity. Applications must link to one of the following hypotheses: * Manoeuvre. If Urban Force Element Commanders have 4D (time and space) decision support and visualisation tools (including physical and human terrains), as well as systems to access the 3D spaces, then they will have better situational awareness and manoeuvrability, and generate higher quality command decisions to increase operational advantage. * Fires. If Urban Force Elements have the ability to deliver accurate multi-domain, physical and non-physical (electromagnetic spectrum and cyber), battlespace-deconflicted Fires beyond visual line-of-sight, then they will be more efficient at prosecuting targets, and effecting the human terrain to increase operational tempo and mass. * Information Activities. If Urban Information Manoeuvre Force Elements have the ability to map, and spoof, RED and WHITE Forces' digital (online) and physical (including printed) information influence then they will be capable of directing more effective information manoeuvre to increase operational tempo and mass. Additional information: AWE Urban Series activity may be circulated through a number of communication routes; however the White Paper and Quad Chart are only available via the DSP.
Options: (a) The Authority reserves the right to extend the duration of the Contract by utilising the following Options; 1) OPTION 1 to extend the Contract until 31st March 2025 (b) The Authority will be under no obligation to take up the Option and the Contractors will be notified of the Authority's decision on any extension before thirty calendar (30) days of Contract completion. If no notification of this Option is provided to Contractors prior to thirty calendar days before Contract completion, Contract will terminate on the original expiry date (31st March 24). (c) The Contractor will not need to submit White Papers, Quad Charts nor attend Dragons Den style events for future AWE Urban events if the Authority decides to take up the Option(s). For the avoidance of doubt, this term only applies to products that have been experimented with at AWE Urban: Blunt and Dislocate.
