In recent years, BL Publishing has become a significant source of commercial revenue for the Library as well as increasing access and understanding of its wide-ranging collections. It has refocused away from specialist scholarly markets and built a successful reputation as a small independent trade publisher. This tender is for the provision of a modern storage and distribution service for the BL's publications, with an electronic ordering, invoicing and account management facility, and the supply to the BL of financial information relating to these transactions in a fully downloadable format.

In recent years, BL Publishing has become a significant source of commercial revenue for the Library as well as increasing access and understanding of its wide-ranging collections. This tender is for the provision of a modern storage and distribution service for the BL's publications, with an electronic ordering, invoicing and account management facility, and the supply to the BL of financial information relating to these transactions in a fully downloadable format. The Library is seeking a Publications Distribution Solution, which represents best practice and best value for money. The distributor for BL Publications is expected to be responsible for the following areas: -- Order Receipt and Processing, -- Invoicing and Order Management, -- Customer Service, -- Warehousing and Distribution, -- Credit Control, and, -- Statistics and Reporting.

Renewal: 2 x 12 months optional extension available
