This requirement is for data acquisition (DAQ) equipment from D-TACQ Solutions to implement our solution for the digitisation of the Analogue Waveform System (AWS) at ISIS at STFC. The AWS is a critical part of accelerator operations at ISIS and the digitisation effort will provide significant benefits in support of these activities in areas such as data analysis, machine learning and accelerator maintenance.

The contract was awarded without prior publication due in accordance with PCR 2015 Regulation 32.(2) (b)The negotiated procedure without prior publication may be used for public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts in any of the following cases: (ii) competition is absent for technical reasons.
