The project will deliver Phase 2 of the wider HyNet scheme and is designed to enable early adopters to receive hydrogen and interlinks with the Hydrogen Village and the Phase1b Hydrogen Pipeline as part of a wider Hydrogen Scheme. The proposed Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC) strategy and scope of works will include: - Secure the required contractor capability and expertise to plan and deliver the delivery phase of the project, including engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. -The delivery phase will be split into 2 stages: Stage 1 Detailed engineering, long lead procurement and early works including environmental mitigation and surveys. Stage 2 Completion of procurement, construction and commissioning. - Allow a smooth transition from Front End Engineering Design (FEED) to Detailed Engineering and into execution, in order to mitigate risk. - Complete Detailed Engineering during the DCO consultation (pre-Final Investment Decision to enable the construction schedule and start-up / commissioning in 2025 for the Hydrogen Village interacting project (see below) and 2027 for the Phase 2 Network. - Co-ordinate and deliver the Hydrogen Village Pressure Reduction System works within the same Stanlow HAGI through Detailed engineering procurement and construction. - Allow collaboration on selected Contractors' environmental and local content delivery strategies to meet the Cadent's high expectations in these areas. - Prepare, qualify, procure and manage long lead materials qualified for hydrogen and ready for EPCC contractors delivery schedule. - Support Cadent in the delivery of scope in the development and delivery of requirements to support UK government decisions on energy transition which can be supported by this project.",
