The Association of North East Councils Trading as the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) is seeking to establish a multi-supplier Framework Agreement for the provision of legal services for use by contracting authorities throughout the United Kingdom. The opportunity can be accessed via the Open eTendering system. Suppliers wishing to be considered for this Framework Agreement must register their expression of interest and submit a tender through the Open eTendering System. If not already registered, candidates should register on the Open eTendering system at https://www.open-uk.org/ Tenders must be submitted using the link above. Tenders submitted via post or email methods will not be accepted. NEPO does not give any guarantee and/or warrant the actual value of orders (if any) which will be placed with the successful suppliers by any Contracting Authority using the Framework Agreement pursuant to this process and accepts no liability thereof.

General Lot - All Requirements

NEPO are using an open procedure for the procurement of this Framework Agreement for the provision Legal Services. The Framework Agreement will consist of a maximum of twelve Suppliers who are able to provide legal services. Tenderers will be evaluated in accordance with the award criteria contained within the invitation to tender documents.

Renewal: This Framework Agreement will be a direct replacement for the current NEPO513 Framework Agreement for Legal Services. It is anticipated that this Framework Agreement will be subject to future renewals.

The provision of legal services relating to Conveyancing including but not limited to the following requirements: - Commercial - Right to Buy - Residential - Land Registrations

The provision of legal services relating to Housing including but not limited to the following requirements: - Anti-social behavior - Disrepair claims - Landlord and tenant - Litigation

The provision of legal services relating to Family including but not limited to the following requirements: - Children - Adults

The provision of legal services relating to Education Law including but not limited to the following requirements: - Academy conversions - Special Education Needs (SEN) mediation - Admissions appeals

The provision of legal services relating to Prosecutions including but not limited to the following requirements: - Trading standards - Environmental

The provision of legal services relating to Licensing including but not limited to the following requirements: - Alcohol - Premises - Taxis - Gambling

The provision of legal services relating to Litigation including but not limited to the following requirements: - Personal Injury - Public Liability - Employers Liability - Commercial Property Litigation - Technology and Construction Litigation

The provision of legal services relating to Insolvency including but not limited to the following requirements: - Insolvency of other contracting parties and remedies available

The provision of legal services relating to Debt Recovery including but not limited to the following requirements: - Debt recovery

The provision of legal services relating to Highways including but not limited to the following requirements: - Section 278 agreements - Section 38 Agreements - Section 50 Licensing

The provision of legal services relating to Employment Law including but not limited to the following requirements: - Employment Tribunal Claims (for example, Unfair dismissal, unlawful deduction of wages, discrimination) - Compromise Agreements - General Employment Law Advice - Clerking Employment Appeals Committee hearings
