Notice Description
Newcastle University will enter into a contract with Crimson to supply services as part of the Admissions System Project to support the Universities Admissions System and the 'Apply to Newcastle' Portal to maintain the Admissions application process.

Total number of call off days 240 to include but not exclusively or implicitly due to the Agile nature of the project * Dashboards and Reporting * Agent B2B enhancement * Kanban items as specified based on business need * Knowledge Engine * Student Wellbeing integration * Web Integration * Delivery and BAU Support * Training and BAU Handover Support - BAU support of a maximum of 75 days over a 12 month period
Procurement Information
Intention to award a contract under UK Statutory Instrument 2015 No. 102 Part 2 Chapter 2 Section 3 Regulation 32(1)(b)(ii) and (iii) as Crimson are the current strategic delivery partner for the Admissions System and 'Apply to Newcastle Portal' and they have built the Admissions system. The University will not be moving away from this system and there is currently not another partner who could support the system. Crimson would have the capabilities to move the system into BAU for the University and ensure ongoing support of the system and the current business needs. The award is lawful according to: The negotiated procedure without prior publication may be used for public works contracts, public supply contracts and public service contracts in any of the following cases: 1. competition is absent for technical reasons and. 2. the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights
