Lot Information
Lot 1
The Council would like to explore with the market how it can best continue and improve upon providing people with high quality, person-centred support in line with the Council's Adult Social Care Strategy, Making a Difference Everyday (2022 - 2027) and Kent's Strategy for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (2021 -24). To do this, we intend to conduct some market engagement meetings in the week commencing 16 January 2023. Organisations will be invited to these meetings based on responses to the below question. Please express an interest in this opportunity on the Kent Business Portal, and use the template attached to the advert to provide your response to the following via the Messages facility: 'Outline your organisation's experience of providing sensory support to children, young people and adults in the community to improve wellbeing and encourage independence, along with the communication skills that your organisation has to support people's communication needs (e.g., BSL qualifications and experience)'' Please return your response to this question no later than 12 noon on 04 January 2023. We intend to invite suitable candidates for a discussion later in January. These meetings will allow the Council to gain insights and experience of providers in this field to influence its strategy for commissioning these services in the future to support peoples' rights for access to a range of high quality service provision across the county. Future Procurement Process: Please note that interested parties will not be prejudiced or advantaged by any response or lack thereof to this Market Engagement advert, and a response to this advert does not guarantee any invitation to participate in any future procurement. Kent County Council intend to procure any services commissioned through a tender process and further information relating to this procurement will be published on Contracts Finder and the Kent Business Portal at a future date. Interested providers are advised to create a supplier profile on the Kent Business Portal to receive notifications.
