Counselling/ Talking Therapy & Anger Management Support Services
Notice Description
The Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire (PFCC) is inviting organisations to tender to provide Counselling / Talking Therapy & Anger Management Support services to victims of crime & those in need of anger management support across North Yorkshire & City of York. The aim is for the victims to be able to either support themselves independently, or be supported through an appropriate peer support network by the end of the provision. This is provision for Counselling/Talking Therapy for adults & young persons & anger management across the North Yorkshire County. The tender is spilt into 4 geographical Lots with regard to Adults & one Lot for Young Persons. It is a condition of the contract that DBS enhanced level clearance and NPPV Level 2 Abbreviated vetting is in place prior to implementation of the contract. Where staff are accessing the CMS, NPPV Level 2 Full will be required.

Funding has been calculated on historical data however trend analysis has shown an increase in demand for services over the last 4 years therefore this has been taken into consideration when advertising the tender. However, there is no guarantee of volume or commitment under the subsequent contract. It is a condition of the contract that DBS enhanced level clearance and NPPV Level 2 Abbreviated vetting is in place prior to implementation of the contract. Where staff are accessing the CMS, NPPV Level 2 Full will be required.
