HMCTS needs to expand and improve its legal qualification schemes (currently offering Level 3 and Level 6) as legal apprenticeships will form a critical part of its strategy to create a pipeline for business-critical Legal Advisor and other legally qualified roles. Paralegal Level 3 - This apprenticeship underpins the initial legal training. The Apprenticeship's focus is to provide legal support, including administrative tasks, carrying out research and drafting legal documents and forms. It will also be used as the apprenticeship framework in the devolved administration of Wales and Scotland. Solicitor Level 7 - This apprenticeship's aim is to Progress legal matters and transactions, applying legal knowledge and commercial judgement to produce solutions which meet clients' needs. It will also be used as the apprenticeship framework in the devolved administration of Wales and Scotland.
