Notice Description

This contract is for the provision of a fully comprehensive service and maintenance package for closed-circuit television (CCTV) and associated security systems located throughout the West Midlands region that is the responsibility of the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) and Midland Metro Limited (MML). A single specialist provider is required for an initial period of 3 years with an option for a further 2 x twelve months extensions, subject to performance.

WMCA CCTV and Security Systems Service and Maintenance

The successful contractor shall formulate an annual programme of works which forecasts the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) for all hardware and software that forms part of the WMCA CCTV and associated security systems estate as well as the day-to-day service and repair of all CCTV and associated security systems (hardware and software). Further investment in new technology and improvements to the current monitoring services is expected to continue throughout the duration of this service and maintenance period. A single specialist provider is required for both Lots for an initial period of 3 years with an option for a further 2 x twelve months extensions, subject to performance. Additional information: Bidders were asked to bid for both Lots of this contract.

Renewal: A single specialist provider is required for both Lots for an initial period of 3 years commencing on 1st May 2023 until 30th April 2026 with an option for a further 2 x twelve months extensions, subject to performance.
