Summary of the contracting process

United Utilities Water Limited is procuring alternative-fuel heavy goods vehicles, specialist utility vehicles and commercial vehicles to support its transition towards carbon net zero by 2030. The requirement covers vehicles powered by compressed natural gas, liquefied natural gas and electricity, including vacuum waste and potable water tankers, heavy-duty industrial vacuum machines, bulk tippers, tractor units, cranes, trailers and tanker remounting.
