The SXI Instrument comprises three units: Telescope, Front End Electronics (FEE) and Back End Electronics Box (EBOX), plus inter-connecting unit Harness. As part of the instrument Proto-Flight Model (PFM) acceptance test campaign, the SXI instrument needs to undergo thermal balance and thermal cycling acceptance testing to demonstrate compliance with instrument thermal performance requirements.
