Garden Assistance Scheme - North Zone
Notice Description
North Lanarkshire Council (the "Council") propose to establish a multi-lot Framework with multiple-Contractors for the provision of a Garden Assistance Scheme. . The approach to establish this Framework will be in accordance with the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015. . Proposed Duration is June-October 2023, with option to extend for grass cutting season 2024 (March to October). . For 2023 requirements, the service will include but not be limited to 6 grass cuts, 2 hedge trims, 2 weedkills. If the contract is extended for 2024 the requirements will be 9 grass cuts, 3 hedge trims, 2 weedkills. Further details can be found in the Detail of Requirements. . Contractors can bid for 1 or more lots, but can only be appointed to 1. Contractors would therefore be asked to rank their preferred zones. Each zone would still be evaluated using MEAT scoring model. When a Contractor is 1st place in more than 1 zone, they are allocated based on their preference, then become void on other Lots applied for.

Service delivery must be carried out in accordance with the information provided within this Contract Notice, the tender pack comprising the ITT and associated documents which are located in PCS-Tender. . Any contractor bidding for this Lot must meet the minimum requirements of manpower, equipment and capacity to service (570) gardens per the Detail of Requirements and be available to start in June 2023. Additional information: Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
Renewal: The Council intends to include an additional 12 month extension period which can be utilised should circumstances arise that such an extension is required.
