Summary of the contracting process

Kent County Council is planning a procurement process for Community Support Services for Children, Young People, and Adults with Sensory Needs. The main procurement category is services in the social work services industry. A remote session will be held on 8th June 2023 for market engagement. Interested parties must submit an expression of interest by 6th June to attend. The future procurement process will involve a tender to procure support services for people with sensory impairments.

This opportunity created by the tender is suitable for businesses providing support services for children, young people, and adults with sensory impairments. Businesses in the social work services industry without accommodation are well-suited to compete. Kent County Council, as the buying organisation, aims to procure a framework of providers through a planned tender process. The procurement will present opportunities for businesses to deliver contracted support services and potentially grow their presence in this sector.
