Notice Description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) (The Commissioner) would like to notify the market of a potential opportunity to provide initial health services for people seeking asylum and invite all interested providers to participate in an early market assessment questionnaire.<br/><br/>Please note the deadline for expressions of interest is 12:00PM on Friday 16th June 23.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The Service will need to undertake and perform the following;

1. Patient registrations on clinical system
2. Provision of on site initial health assessment for new arrivals (non detained) N.B dedicated premise space / areas to support the delivery of health care services onsite, will be provided.
3. Provision of ongoing health care needs
4. Referral to other pathways as required / appropriate
5. Collaborative working with other system partners (multi agency) - screening services, health protection, mental health etc
6. Access to services will be as indicated in the specification and will need to be appropriate to the level of need.
7. Majority of care will require to be f2f with potential opportunities for remote access
8. Reception / admin support will be required
9. Issuing of prescriptions / dispensing

Note these requirements of service provision are subject to change.

The contract type will be APMS or similar.

Key points for consideration for interested providers are:-

1. Must be a current provider of health care services.
2. Must already be CQC registered.
3. Must have available or access to workforce capacity to provide onsite services.
4. Ability to mobilise quickly (for example within 2-4 weeks)

The key desirables for the service are: -

1. Have an understanding of the additional health needs of people seeking asylum.
2. Desirable use of TPP Systmone.
3. Experience of providing similar service/s i.e. detained / justice; support to other migration and resettlement programmes.
