Warwickshire County Council Framework Contract for the Provision of Engineering and Construction Works 2023
Notice Description
Warwickshire County Council (the 'Authority') is seeking suppliers for the provision of engineering and construction services. Work under the Framework Contract will generally involve the construction or the design and construction of highway works and structural works as set out in the framework scope (Framework Contract Volume 2 document). The Framework Contract for the Provision of Engineering and Construction Works 2023 is divided into five Lots as set out in the Framework Information (Framework Contract Volume 2 document).
Lot Information
Small highway, structural and other civil engineering works
Work will vary, but an example is: The construction of a new cycleway adjacent to an existing single carriageway principal road. Additional information: The contract value provided for each Lot is an estimation and will depend on schemes coming forward over the duration of the contract, WCC therefore reserves the right to amend the individual Lot values within the overall contract value estimation
Options: The Framework Contract will be for an initial term of two (2) years, with an option to extend it by further periods up to a maximum of twenty four (24) months
Renewal: The initial contract term is 24 months with the option to extend for up to a maximum additional 24 months.
Medium highway, structural and other civil engineering worksWork will vary, but an example is: The construction of a new bellmouth on an existing single carriageway principal road with a vehicle restraint system.
Options: The Framework Contract will be for an initial term of two (2) years, with an option to extend it by further periods up to a maximum of twenty four (24) months
Renewal: The initial contract term is 24 months with the option to extend for up to a maximum additional 24 months.
Large highway, structural and other engineering worksWork will vary, but an example is: The construction of a new roundabout junction on an existing single carriageway principal road.
Options: The Framework Contract will be for an initial term of two (2) years, with an option to extend it by further periods up to a maximum of twenty four (24) months
Renewal: The initial contract term is 24 months with the option to extend for up to a maximum additional 24 months.
Major highway, structural and other engineering worksWork will vary, but an example is: The signalisation of an existing motorway junction which connects the motorway to the local highway network via a grade separated gyratory.
Options: The Framework Contract will be for an initial term of two (2) years, with an option to extend it by further periods up to a maximum of twenty four (24) months
Renewal: The initial contract term is 24 months with the option to extend for up to a maximum additional 24 months.
Major highway, structural and other engineering worksWork will vary, but an example is: Construction of a new 20m single span bridge which connects the local authority network over an existing motorway
Options: The Framework Contract will be for an initial term of two (2) years, with an option to extend it by further periods up to a maximum of twenty four (24) months
Renewal: The initial contract term is 24 months with the option to extend for up to a maximum additional 24 months.
