UOW910 - Construction Partner for an International Inclusive Cricket Education Centre
Notice Description
The University is seeking to appoint a construction partner to deliver a new International Inclusive Cricket Education Centre (IICEC) on its Severn Campus. The project will be the latest addition to the Severn Campus for Health, Wellbeing and Inclusive Sport. The new campus, developed on a brownfield industrial site, will provide world class facilities for both national and international students. It is a key element of the University's 2019 Strategic Plan (https://www.worcester.ac.uk/documents/university-worcester-strategic-plan-2019.pdf) and the City of Worcester's vision to become recognised as a growing cosmopolitan cathedral and university city with unrivalled heritage and for the City's Riverside to become a national and international destination - https://www.worcester.gov.uk/planning/city-centre-masterplan Background to the IICEC The University has appointed David Morley Architects to develop the architectural design of the facility.
