UKRI wishes to establish a contract for the provision of a high average power ultrafast laser system for applications of extreme ultraviolet radiation.

Lot 1

The Central Laser Facility (CLF) based at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Harwell, Oxfordshire is preparing major upgrade of its ultrafast laser facilities, in a project called HiLUX. As part of this upgrade project, the CLF requires a high average power ultrafast laser system for applications of extreme ultraviolet radiation.

Options: UKRI have requested the following items to be priced as options: High harmonic generation, using output A or its second harmonic; Additional tuneable output, using output C; Secondary post-compression of output A; Post-compression of output C; 2 year Warranty; 3 year Warranty; Laser Diodes; Compressor Gratings; Amplifier Media; Hollow-Core Fibres; Multi-pass Compression Cell Mirrors
