HES has a large and varied collection of archaeological artefacts and historic objects on public display throughout Scotland. Display cases housing these exhibits vary in age and quality. C and AC have been leading on a multi-year project to review and implement improvements at 18 PICs, to achieve compliance with the Government Indemnity Scheme GIS. Case improvements or replacements form part of this project. Having the framework in place will facilitate the ready acquisition of required services to ensure delivery of the GIS project whilst also supporting case replacements or improvements for sites not included within the scope of the project. All new display cases purchased must be GIS compliant, see Appendix 1 for required specification. HES and the Suppliers will work in a spirit of partnership in the provision of these services and will be prepared to discuss proposals to enable the costs to be reduced and or services to be improved or expanded, provided mutual benefit can be demonstrated.",
