The project involves leading and coordinating volunteer planting schemes across Devon, funded by the Local Authority Treescapes Fund. The project will span from November 2023 to March 2030, requiring careful planning in collaboration with the council. The tender was open to bids and has been awarded to ParkLife South West CIC.

This public procurement opportunity presents a chance for organisations specialising in services related to miscellaneous services, agricultural and horticultural products, and forestry to contribute to community planting initiatives in Devon. Businesses interested in participating should ensure compliance with the UKISG & Plant Healthy certifications required for providing tree stock. The open procurement method allows for fair competition among businesses to secure contracts for this environmentally significant project.
