Notice Description
In 2008 Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC , Merthyr Tydfil CBC and Bridgend CBC (together the "LA Founders") entered into a Joint Venture arrangement with an external consultancy firm to establish a Joint Venture Company currently trading as Redstart (the "JV"). The main purpose of the JV was to provide engineering consultancy services to the LA founders via a quick and compliant route to market. The JV arrangement is due to expire on 31st August 2024 and RCT CBC acting as the Lead Authority reprocuring the services wish to engage with the market to determine early feedback on proposed delivery models for the future. The purpose of this exercise is to explore the options in respect of future delivery models for providing core engineering consultancy services to the LA founders

The purpose of this exercise is to explore the options in respect of future delivery models for providing core engineering consultancy services to the LA founders This Market Consultation exercise is an opportunity for potential consultants to participate in shaping the Council's procurement strategy and gain insight into the proposed future delivery model. Potential Consultants who are interested in this opportunity are invited to download the Outline Brief and Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire via the www.etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk and complete no later than 10am on 15th September2023. Potential consultants who submit a questionnaire may be invited to a dialogue /question and answer session with the Council. THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR TENDERS (ITT) OR A PRE-QUALIFICATION (PQQ) EXERCISE. This is a Request For Information (RFI). The RFI will be used to facilitate a market sounding exercise to provide advance information of requirements and open a dialogue with the market. The results may be used to inform future procurement specifications and strategies.
