Notice Description

Suffolk County Council intends to recommission the Framework for Day, Evening, and Weekend (DEW) Opportunities. This DEW Opportunities Framework will primarily provide support for people aged 18+ with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. However, although providers will support people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism they may additionally support others, including those with Physical Disabilities and/or Sensory loss, Acquired Brain Injury, Dementia, and Mental Health issues.

Suffolk County Council intends to recommission the Framework for Day, Evening, and Weekend (DEW) Opportunities. This DEW Opportunities Framework will primarily provide support for people aged 18+ with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism. However, although providers will support people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism they may additionally support others, including those with Physical Disabilities and/or Sensory loss, Acquired Brain Injury, Dementia, and Mental Health issues. Providers wishing to contract with the County Council to deliver DEW Opportunities for people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism must be part of the Framework, referrals outside of this Framework are not expected to take place. Open Framework The Council's intention is to advertise the tender in November 2023 with a view to commencing the Framework in April 2024. The Framework will be open for 10 years (to March 2034) and there will be opportunities to bid annually (at a minimum) from April 2024 through to April 2033 inclusively. Market Engagement We will hold an initial Market Engagement Webinar at 10 am on Friday 29th September 2023 which will be available to view should providers be unable to attend.
