Team Leidos are proud to be delivering the logistics commodities and services transformation (LCS(T)) Delivery partner contracts (LCS (T)/0001 dated 16.4.2015) on behalf of the UK Ministry of Defence (the 'Prime Contract'). Delivery of other parts of the LCS(T) contract are delivered by Leidos Europe Ltd (LEL) and other partners (together 'Team Leidos'). This requirement is subject to the Public Procurement Regulations and respective advertising action.

In April 2015 the MOD signed a thirteen year contract with Leidos Europe Ltd to provide the procurement and inventory management of commodity items (as well as the storage and distribution services) historically provided in-house by the Logistic Commodities and Services Operating Centre. Leidos, working with the MOD, will transform the way these services are delivered to ensure requirements continue to be met whilst providing best value for money for the department. The organisation delivering these services is known as Team Leidos.Team Leidos would like to make interested suppliers aware that it has awarded tenders for its supply and delivery of Bespoke Dental Implants. The Medical Consumables Team, which forms part of Leidos Supply Ltd has awarded the tender for the requirement of the supply of Bespoke Dental Implants on behalf of the UK MOD, consisting of one contract .The estimated value for this contract is PS500,000 over the three year period. With the contract awarded to Nobel Biocare UK and Ireland Ltd. This contract was placed using the negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice pursuant to Article 32 of Directive 2014/24/EC of the European Parliament (Regulation 32(2)(b)(ii) of PCR 2015). Procurement Information

This requirement is for additional deliveries by the original supplier which are intended either as a partial replacement of supplies or installations or as the extension of existing supplies or installations where a change of supplier would oblige the contracting authority to acquire supplies having different technical characteristics which would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation or maintenance (Regulation 32(5)(b) of PCR 2015). The manufacturer (Nobel Biocare) are the sole supplier to the UK military market for the Bespoke Dental Implants as well as Associated Consumables, Training, Technical and Administrative Support. Nobel Biocare manufacture products for themselves only and sell in the UK directly to dental departments, the implants and components are not supplied by any other implant manufacturer. Nobel Biocare components are specific to Nobel Biocare implants and cannot be mixed with other implant systems.
