Derbyshire County Council Adult Health and Social Care are establishing a Framework for the procurement of Specialist Residential Care and Nursing Home Placements (under 65 years). This Framework will replace the existing contracting arrangements for all new specialist residential care / nursing home placements from April 2024 (proposed date). This includes Emergency Placements and Respite Care.

The Framework will be applicable to the following client groups: * Mental Health * Learning Disabilities * Autism Spectrum Condition * Physical Disabilities * Sensory Impairment * Acquired Brain Injury * Those with unpredictable levels of behaviour that challenges services This Framework is not relevant to care home providers with only services for people over 65 years of age.
