The process began with a call for tenders and reached the award stage by 11th September 2024. The key service contract, valued between £2,000,000 and £3,500,000, was awarded to Victim Support, a UK-based organisation. The contract, active from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2031, focuses on providing a single point of contact for victims to receive tailored support and referrals to specialised services.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses specialising in healthcare, social work, and support services. The creation of a Victims Hub Service can also foster partnerships and networking opportunities within the healthcare and criminal justice sectors, potentially leading to further business growth and diversification for companies proficient in delivering integrated care pathways and customer-centric support services.
