Lot Information
Lot 1
Joseph Chamberlain College is situated just ten minutes from Birmingham City Centre and is a highly successful Sixth Form with a national reputation for excellence. It offers a wide range of A-Level and BTEC courses for school leavers in the award-winning main building. A variety of Adult Learning programmes are based at a neighbouring building. As the only college in Birmingham and Solihull rated 'Outstanding' by OFSTED, student achievement is among the highest in England. This is because the teachers are all highly skilled professionals and experts in their fields; therefore, their focus is firmly on making sure that all of the students achieve exceptional examination and vocational results. It is a highly inclusive and vibrant college, proud of the diversity that exists among the staff and students. Visitors to College often comment on the friendly, welcoming, and positive atmosphere they experience here. We believe that this comes from the strong sense of community, characterised by warm and respectful relationships between staff and students. The College has just completed a new build teaching block, which was commissioned by the end of October 2023. It has also just completed and opened a new 3G sports pitch field and carpark for staff and visitors. The College is looking for a trusted partner, who will self-deliver all of the Hard services, to include Maintenance and PPM planning and reactive works. There will also be an opportunity for the preferred supplier to support the College on Asset Lifecycle Planning and Capital Projects, which sit outside of the scope of this contract.
