Notice Description
Jisc has entered into a contract with the American Institute of Physics Publishing LLC. AIP Publishing are a wholly owned, not-for-profit subsidiary of the American Institute of Physics (AIP). Jisc seeks to offer its members the opportunity to subscribe to AIP's online journals in the fields of physics and allied sciences, and the right to publish open access articles in those journals. AIP is the rightsholder to these journals and the sole supplier of this resource.

Procurement Information
The supplier is the rightsholder to the IP of the content and the sole supplier of this unique resource. Therefore, Jisc is clear that the arrangement falls within the protection of exclusive rights, including intellectual property rights, contained within Regulation 32 (2) (b) (iii) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, permitting Jisc to enter into the direct award.
